
In all great philosophical traditions, the supreme teacher is the one who remains silent.
So to this website-of-expression I give an unquiet name, The Siren's Clef, a nod to Homer who, in presenting the sirens, warned against the promise of taking such means of expression as anything more than transient phenomenon!
Bio[Eric] Alexander Romanovich was born outside Providence, Rhode Island. He moved to New York City in 1998 where he now lives with his wife, muse, and mythic personage, Minnie (womaninthemoon.org), who is an illustrator and photographer. They also have a home in Mumbai, India.
He has been a photographer since 1994 and has been a software architect for nearly as long, presently employed by White Whale Web Services. A childhood obsession with world mythologies grew into a lifelong study of metaphysics, philosophy, and religion. His main interest is Advaita Vedanta, with additional focus on Hermeticism, Alchemy, Traditionalism, Buddhism, and Greek Philosophy. All his life he has been an author, starting with elaborate storytelling before he knew how to write. Alex is now a prolific writer, producing poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and screenplays.
